Job Summary:
The Facilities Manager is responsible for and supervises the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of all facilities, infrastructure and production equipment used by the organization.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, all work must be done thinking “Safety First”.
- For all on-site positions, must show up to work to perform job duties.
- Inspects and performs maintenance on assigned manufacturing equipment, infrastructure and facilities.
- Ensures assigned facilities and equipment are ready for regular business and special events.
- Maintains files of warranties, records, licenses, inspections, service agreements, and contracts for various pieces of equipment.
- Maintains the inventory, storage, and distribution of equipment.
- Provides recommendations for purchases of new equipment.
- Collaborates with other appropriate management staff to prepare and implement budget.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Get along with others, not creating a hostile work environment.

- Ability to work with and as a Team.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and 41+ pounds as a two-person lift.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversees applicable general maintenance workers, interns, and/or apprentices.
- Oversees outside contractors.
Travel:
- 25% travel to other US or International locations
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, related software and computers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers, managers, and personnel from various departments.
- Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully, identifying and resolving problems in a timely manner.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or combination of work experience.
- Experience managing the company’s type of facilities, equipment, and events preferred.
- Experience with CNC machinery is preferred
