Employment Specialist / Recruiter at Express Employment Professionals

We currently have an Employment Specialist / Recruiter position opening available at our Sioux Falls, SD office.
As an Employment Specialist / Recruiter, you will primarily work within the Sioux Falls market and secondarily in the balance of South Dakota, Northwest Iowa, and Southwest Minnesota. Your primary job will be to meet the hiring needs of our client companies through recruiting, screening, and matching job seekers to client job requirements. Your secondary job will be to solicit new business through marketing screened job seekers to client and prospect job needs and for which we do not have a job order.
What do you need to possess, what is required to succeed in this position?
- Prior history of success and longevity on the job
- Ability to maintain organization, efficiency, and effectiveness in all that you do through the preparation and execution of daily recruitment, screening, and sales plans
- Ability to manage job seeker and client expectations and timelines, achieving high satisfaction and retention levels
- Must be a people person and effective communicator, with the ability to maintain a high volume of daily communication in person, and through inbound and outbound phone calls, texts, and emails
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology and processes
- Must be competitive, with a hate to lose or disappoint attitude
- Ability to tour client companies to gain understanding of client work environment, job roles, and expectations
- Preference will be given to candidates who have prior industry experience, are bilingual, or have prior business-to-business relationship management and sales experience
