Canopy Technician
$20.00–$24.00/hr DOE | Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire | Fort Worth, TX
Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Canopy Technician for a leading aerospace manufacturing company in Fort Worth. This position focuses on the fabrication, assembly, installation, and finishing of aircraft canopy components while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Apply adhesive bonding materials and assist with thermal curing processes
- Perform sanding, grinding, and surface preparation using electric and pneumatic tools
- Assist with wet composite lay-up operations
- Use hand tools, fasteners, and torque tools for assembly operations
- Follow quality standards and maintain FOD awareness
- Support production goals while maintaining a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Manufacturing, aerospace, aviation, composites, or mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to perform basic manufacturing math calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
