QC Assistant
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: South Fort Worth, TX
Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire
An equipment rental company in South Fort Worth is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented QC Assistant to join its first-shift warehouse team. This position is responsible for inspecting refrigeration rental equipment, correcting exterior defects, testing temperatures, and ensuring units meet quality standards before use.
QC Assistant Responsibilities
- Inspect refrigeration rental equipment for exterior defects or damage
- Complete minor exterior repairs and cosmetic corrections
- Plug in refrigerators and verify they reach the correct temperature
- Document inspection results and equipment conditions
- Use a computer or handheld scanner to track equipment
- Maintain an organized quality control and warehouse area
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as needed
QC Assistant Qualifications
- At least 1 year of quality control, quality inspection, or warehouse inspection experience
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Basic computer or handheld scanner experience
- Ability to identify defects and follow quality standards
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
