Commercial Door Installer
We're seeking an experienced Commercial Door Installer to join a reputable company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial doors and access systems. If you have strong mechanical skills, take pride in quality workmanship, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair commercial doors and hardware
- Install hollow metal doors, wood doors, storefront doors, and aluminum frames
- Install and adjust door closers, panic hardware, hinges, locks, and electronic access systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and installation instructions
- Ensure doors are properly aligned, secured, and operating safely
- Operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, and other jobsite equipment
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
Qualifications:
- Previous experience installing commercial doors, frames, and door hardware preferred
- Knowledge of automatic doors, access control systems, or locksmith work is a plus
- Ability to read tape measures and construction drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work on ladders or lifts as needed
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
