Job Title: Warehouse Labeler – Hazardous Materials
Pay Rate: $18
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4-5 days per week with occasional Monday or Friday off, 7am-3:30pm

Join a fast-paced, safety-focused warehouse team supporting the distribution of industrial and commercial goods. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to help ensure all outgoing packages containing hazardous materials are properly labeled according to federal regulations and internal procedures.
Job Summary:
The Warehouse Labeler is responsible for accurately identifying, labeling, and verifying outgoing packages that contain hazardous materials such as flammable, toxic, corrosive, and reactive substances. This role helps ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory standards for hazardous material handling and shipping.
Key Responsibilities:

Apply appropriate hazardous material labels (e.g., flammable, corrosive, toxic) to outgoing packages.

Cross-check packing lists and shipping manifests for accuracy in product type and label requirements.

Visually inspect containers for leaks, damage, or improper sealing before labeling.

Follow strict safety guidelines when handling and labeling hazardous materials.

Use handheld scanners or labeling equipment to track packages.

Work closely with warehouse shipping team and compliance/safety personnel.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.

Assist in loading labeled packages for shipment as needed.
Qualifications:

Previous warehouse, shipping, or labeling experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of hazardous material classifications is a plus (DOT/OSHA training is a strong advantage).

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.

Comfortable working around chemicals with proper PPE (provided, minus steel toe shoes).
