We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to oversee the safety, maintenance, and airworthiness of a growing fleet. This is your opportunity to build and lead a world-class maintenance department as part of one of the most dynamic flight academies in the country!

?? About the Role:

As the Director of Maintenance, you won’t just be maintaining aircraft—you’ll be building the foundation for best-in-class safety, operational readiness, and efficiency. You’ll lead a skilled maintenance team, work cross-functionally with leadership, and ensure the fleet meets and exceeds FAA regulations and company standards.

??? What You’ll Own:

  • Lead the Team: Provide vision, mentorship, and hands-on leadership to the maintenance crew.

  • Operational Excellence: Develop and enforce maintenance policies that prioritize safety, compliance, and efficiency.

  • Fleet Readiness: Manage inspection schedules, maintenance operations, and emergency repairs to keep the fleet soaring.

  • Safety First: Champion a proactive safety culture through audits, risk assessments, and continual quality improvements.

  • Budget Management: Create and manage department budgets, control costs, and negotiate with vendors to maximize resources.

  • Strategic Innovation: Help chart the course forward through fleet management planning, technological upgrades, and process enhancements.

?? What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Maintenance Management, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Experience:

    • 5+ years in aviation maintenance, including 2+ years in a leadership role.

    • Deep understanding of FAA regulations and corporate aviation standards.

    • A&P License required; IA qualification preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Inspirational leadership and team-building skills.

    • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.

    • Strong problem-solving mindset and operational decisiveness.

    • Financial savvy and budget management experience.
