Maintenance Technician – Day Shift (Food Manufacturing)
Lakeland, FL
$29.00 – $32.00/hour
6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | 2-2-3 Rotation
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a strong background in preventive and predictive maintenance? Have you worked in food-grade manufacturing environments and understand the importance of quality, safety, and sanitation? If so, we want to speak with you.
We’re seeking a Maintenance Technician to support operations on day shift in a high-paced, high-output food production facility. You’ll be a key player in reducing downtime, increasing line efficiency, and maintaining the integrity of our production systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Document maintenance activities in CMMS.

Support line changeovers and setups to ensure smooth operation.

Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and GMP protocols in a food-grade environment.

Collaborate with production and QA teams to identify root causes and long-term fixes.
Ideal Background:
-
2+ years in industrial maintenance, ideally in food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Experience with PLC-driven equipment, conveyors, packaging lines, pumps, and motors.

Comfortable working in a cold, wet, or dry production environment with frequent cleaning/sanitation procedures.

Understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO), HACCP, and GMP standards.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Schedule:
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
2-2-3 rotation (Every other weekend off!)
Compensation:
$29.00 – $32.00/hour (based on experience)
