Perform a variety of scheduling and expediting duties related to production planning

Review production schedules, specifications, and related documents to determine material, priority, and personnel requirements

Assist with order entry and purchasing activities

Compile and maintain schedules for personnel assignments, production flow, workflow, and transportation
-
Monitor work-in-progress, issue job travelers, and direct team members to expedite workflow
-
Request, track, and maintain inventory of materials and supplies required to meet production demands
-
Calculate labor and material requirements and manufacturing costs using pricing tools or schedules
-
Maintain document control and ensure accurate recordkeeping
-
Examine documents, materials, and processes to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to specifications and standards
-
Prepare and complete status reports related to production progress, customer information, and inventory levels
-
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and customers to resolve scheduling, processing, or shipping issues
-
Perform additional duties as assigned by management

High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Minimum of 1 year of experience in an expeditor or similar role
-
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with scheduling software
-
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and task interdependencies
-
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple customers and competing priorities

Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships

Experience with ISO, ASO, or DFARS requirements is a plus
