Job Title: Machine Operator C
Position Overview:
The Machine Operator C will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to produce parts and products safely and efficiently. This role requires a focus on quality, precision, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:
- Operate various types of machines, such as CNC machines, injection molding machines, or other industrial production equipment.
- Load raw materials into machines, adjust machine settings and monitor production runs.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in producing products according to specifications.

Machine Setup & Adjustments:
- Set up machines for production runs, including calibrating machinery and selecting proper tooling.
- Adjust machine parameters (speed, temperature, pressure, etc.) based on the specific product being produced.
- Ensure machines are running smoothly and troubleshoot minor issues as needed.

Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Perform routine quality checks using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Document and report any quality issues and work with the team to resolve them.

Maintenance & Safety:
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on equipment, such as cleaning, oiling, and replacing worn parts.
- Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Assist in performing minor repairs on machinery when needed.

Production Monitoring:
- Monitor machine output, production rates, and efficiency, adjusting as necessary to meet production targets.
- Report any machine malfunctions or production delays to supervisors promptly.

Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and other machine operators to ensure smooth production workflows.
- Complete necessary paperwork and production logs accurately and promptly.

Training and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on machine operations, maintenance techniques, and safety standards.
- Participate in training programs to improve skills and efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing or machine operator role is preferred but not always required.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of machine operations and mechanical systems.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and identify potential production problems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift materials, and operate machinery safely.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in production.
Desired Skills & Attributes:
- Familiarity with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) or similar machinery.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including molding, stamping, or assembly techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Work in a manufacturing or industrial environment, which may involve exposure to noise, machinery, and potentially hazardous materials.
- Shift work or overtime may be required depending on production schedules.
