Sporting Equipment (Machine Operator) – $13 per hour
Express Employment Professionals of Champaign is a professional staffing company dedicated to helping local businesses find great people. We are currently seeking several Machine Operators for a Sports Equipment Manufacturer to join a growing team in Champaign, IL.

Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety procedures to protect self and others
- From blueprints choose vinyl weight and color needed and load into welder
- Align vinyl to specification and set machine accordingly using touch screen
- Use foot pedals to start operation
- Walk the length of the heat welder guiding two pieces of vinyl using a cross seam weld to adhere two sheets of vinyl or mesh using heat
- Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Finish curtain as needed
Qualifications:
- Basic Math Skills
- Must work well with others
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently over shift
- Will be working on hands and knees for most of shift.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm
