Job Full Description

Responsibilities:

• Understand, from a chemical perspective, refrigerant reclamation process and the analytical analyses performed to evaluate refrigerant's integrity
• Gas Chromatography experience a plus but not mandatory
  *Able to perform wet chemistry and other titration techniques
• Work as a team with both lab and plant personnel
• Collect refrigerant samples from cylinders, drums, and bulk storage tanks
• Change GC carrier and fuel gas cylinders when necessary (cylinders weigh 200 lbs but can be moved with a hand cart)
• Proficient with MS Office programs
• Enter results from analysis into Hudson's Refrigerant Handling System
• Be flexible regarding work schedule and be able to work overtime when requested. Initial work schedule is Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30, Schedule may change to work as early as 5:00 am and also exists for working four 10 hour days a week.
• Capable of lifting 75 lb cylinders of refrigerant
• Assist other sections of the plant when deemed necessary such as packaging and working the pump-out rack
• Any other laboratory duties that may be assigned on an on-going basis by the Lab Director

Qualifications:

• Science Background - High School and some college
• Looking for someone that is trainable
