Job Title: Pesticide Application Operator
Location: Ivesdale, IL

Pay: 20/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Pesticide Application Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating application equipment to safely and effectively apply pesticides and herbicides on farm fields. The ideal candidate will have experience with agricultural machinery, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to following all safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Operate sprayers, tractors, and other farm equipment to apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers as directed.

Accurately follow mixing and application instructions to ensure proper coverage and dosage.

Inspect, maintain, and clean equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Record and report details of applications, including type, quantity, and location of pesticide used.

Monitor weather and field conditions to determine optimal application timing.

Follow all federal, state, and local regulations regarding pesticide use and handling.

Safely handle, store, and transport chemicals in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Assist with other farm operations and maintenance tasks as needed.
Qualifications

Previous experience operating farm equipment or working in an agricultural setting preferred.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Pesticide Applicator License (company may assist with certification).

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.

Attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety protocols.

Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
