Job Title: Mixing Assistant – Fertilizer Preparation
Location: Ivesdale, IL
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: 20/hr
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable Mixing Assistant to support farm operations by preparing fertilizer blends for field application. This role is responsible for measuring, mixing, and handling fertilizer products safely and accurately. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow mixing instructions, and a commitment to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Measure and mix fertilizers according to specific formulas and field application requirements.

Safely handle, transport, and store fertilizer materials.

Operate and maintain mixing tanks, pumps, and related equipment.

Maintain accurate records of materials mixed and distributed.

Assist with loading fertilizer into sprayers, spreaders, or transport equipment.

Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding chemical handling.

Perform routine cleaning and inspection of mixing equipment.

Assist with general farm duties as needed.
Qualifications

Prior experience working in agriculture, warehouse, or chemical handling preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate mixing equipment.

Ability to follow written and verbal mixing instructions accurately.

Strong attention to safety and detail.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
