Microbiology QC Specialist – Join Our Lab Legends
Location: Rantoul | Department: Quality Control | Experience: 5+ Years

What You'll Be Doing
You're not just running tests—you’re safeguarding products and ensuring our formulas meet the highest standards. In this role, you will:

Perform microbiological testing on water, raw materials, bulk, and finished products

Interpret results, investigate issues, and follow up with additional testing when needed
-
Conduct challenge testing and report results to R&D
-
Monitor the plant environment and report findings
-
Maintain best practices in lab safety and documentation
-
Communicate micro issues that could impact production or compliance
-
Supervise Micro Lab Technician(s) and manage lab supply inventory
-
Pitch in on other quality-related tasks as assigned
What You Bring to the Bench
-
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
-
5+ years of QC microbiology experience in consumer products (cosmetic, food, or pharma preferred)
-
Solid understanding of microbiology techniques per FDA, CTFA, and other standards
-
Strong algebra skills and a knack for problem-solving
-
Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Proficiency with PCs, spreadsheets, and word processing
-
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ready to lead
