Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter / Woodworker to join our team in Champaign, IL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with wood, reading measurements, and using both hand and power tools to craft, assemble, and repair wood products and structures.
Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, assemble, and finish wood components according to specifications.

Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, sanders, drills, and planers safely and accurately.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety standards.

Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment.

Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications

Previous experience in carpentry, woodworking, or a related trade preferred.

Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and cutting.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Familiarity with hand and power tools used in woodworking.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
