Machine Operator - Break Press
📍 Champaign, IL
We’re hiring Machine Operators to join a fast-paced and growing production facility. In this role, you'll support daily manufacturing operations by running turret punches, PEM inserters, press machines, and other equipment used to move products through the production line. This is a great opportunity for someone with shop, warehouse, or production experience who is dependable and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate turret punch machines, PEM inserters, and press machines
* Load raw materials and unload finished parts from machines
* Perform basic quality checks and report any defects or issues
* Follow work orders, safety procedures, and production guidelines
* Keep work area clean, organized, and assist in general production tasks
Qualifications:
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Experience with turret, PEM, or press machines preferred (training available)
* Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
