Concrete Laborer – Construction Crew

Location: Champaign, IL

Job Summary
We are seeking a hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our construction team in Champaign, IL. This role involves assisting with concrete projects, preparing and pouring concrete, and performing physically demanding tasks to support the crew.

Shift & Pay

• Schedule: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (including potential overtime)

• Pay: $18-20/hr - Higher depending on experience. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare job sites, forms, and materials for concrete pouring

• Assist in mixing, pouring, spreading, and finishing concrete

• Handle and transport materials such as concrete, gravel, and tools

• Operate hand tools and basic equipment related to concrete work

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

• Assist crew members as needed during construction projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with concrete

• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions

• Comfortable standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience on commercial or residential concrete projects

• Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and equipment
