Job Full Description
A well-established local construction company in the Champaign–Urbana area is seeking an experienced Plumber to join their team. This is a long-term opportunity with steady work, strong benefits, and a company culture that values safety, craftsmanship, and work-life balance.
What You’ll Do
Install and repair residential and light commercial plumbing systems using copper, PEX, and PVC in accordance with Illinois state code.
Complete jobs independently, communicate job status to a field supervisor, and provide accurate material lists for ordering.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule and respond to service calls as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Hands-on plumbing experience with code-compliant installations.
Ability to work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, and closets, and at heights up to 20 feet.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
Proficiency with soft soldering and safe operation of power tools.
Valid driver’s license required.
Illinois State Plumbing License preferred but not required.
