Job Full Description
We’re partnering with a well-established construction contractor in the Champaign–Urbana area that prioritizes quality work, employee stability, and long-term careers. This is a hands-on electrician role for someone who can work independently, handle full installations, and take pride in clean, code-compliant work.
What You’ll Be Doing

Install electrical systems and complete startups per factory and project specifications

Perform high and low voltage wiring in residential and commercial settings

Work independently on installs with minimal supervision

Take detailed material lists and coordinate ordering for each job

Report job completion status to the install manager

Safely operate hand and power tools on active job sites
Required Qualifications
-
2–4+ years of hands-on electrical installation experience
-
Proficient in both high and low voltage wiring
-
Ability to work from heights up to 20 feet
-
Comfortable working in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, and closets
-
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
-
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Strong understanding of safety practices and job site expectations

Frequent standing, bending, climbing, kneeling, and lifting

Indoor and outdoor work in varying conditions

Use of ladders, lifts, meters, and electrical testing equipment
