Job Full Description
We’re partnering with a well-established residential construction company in the Champaign area to hire an experienced Trim and Cabinet Carpenter. This role is ideal for a skilled finish carpenter who takes pride in clean, precise work and understands residential construction standards from framing through final install.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Install residential trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry with a high level of accuracy and detail

Perform framing and general carpentry work as needed

Read and interpret plans, layouts, and measurements

Ensure all work meets residential building codes and quality standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite

Communicate effectively with homeowners, teammates, and supervisors
What We’re Looking For:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on residential or commercial carpentry experience

Proven trim carpentry and cabinet installation experience
-
Framing experience
-
Strong knowledge of residential building codes

Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate layout and measurements
-
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and quality control

Professional attitude and solid interpersonal skills
