Express Employment Professionals is hiring a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Supervisor for a plastic bottle manufacturing facility. This position combines technical troubleshooting with team leadership. You will guide maintenance employees, respond to equipment problems, and help keep blow molding and extrusion equipment operating safely and efficiently.
This is not a desk-only supervisor position. The right candidate will be comfortable leading people, setting priorities, and stepping in to troubleshoot or repair equipment when needed.
What You Will Do
- Lead and support industrial maintenance technicians
- Assign daily work, preventive maintenance, and repair priorities
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment failures
- Support blow molding, extrusion, conveying, and production equipment
- Coordinate repairs to reduce downtime and maintain production schedules
- Coach employees on safety, troubleshooting, and quality workmanship
- Track completed repairs, recurring equipment issues, and maintenance needs
- Communicate equipment status with production leadership
- Help maintain parts, tools, and maintenance documentation
- Promote a safe, organized, and accountable maintenance department
What We Are Looking For
- Previous industrial maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
- Experience with plastic manufacturing, blow molding, extrusion, or similar equipment is strongly preferred
- Ability to organize work and lead employees during urgent breakdowns
- Clear communication and dependable follow-through
- Ability to work either 1st or 3rd shift
