We are hiring an Epoxy Flooring Technician for a small, close-knit flooring team. This is hands-on trade work involving surface preparation, floor repairs, coating application, and jobsite cleanup.
Direct epoxy or floor coating experience is preferred. Professional painting, drywall finishing, concrete preparation, or similar surface-finishing experience can also translate well. Candidates must have relevant professional experience, a reliable personal vehicle, and a valid driver’s license.
What You Will Do
- Prepare concrete floors for epoxy and coating application
- Grind, clean, patch, and repair floor surfaces
- Mix and apply epoxy, coatings, decorative flake, and topcoats
- Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain clean work areas
- Follow product ratios, curing times, and application instructions
- Inspect completed floors for coverage, consistency, and defects
- Load, unload, and transport tools and job materials
- Travel to residential and commercial job locations
- Work closely with a small team to complete projects correctly
- Clean and maintain tools after each job
What We Are Looking For
- Direct epoxy flooring or floor coating experience is preferred
- Professional painting, drywall, concrete, or surface preparation experience may qualify
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to preparation and finished appearance
- Ability to follow exact mixing and application instructions
- Ability to perform physical floor work, including bending, kneeling, and working on concrete surfaces
- Dependable attendance and respect for customer property
- Comfortable working as part of a small, hands-on team
