First Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Second Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 p.m.–2:30 a.m.

Experienced CNC Lathe Machinists Needed
A precision manufacturer is hiring CNC Turn Machinists to independently operate and set up CNC turning centers. This position requires genuine lathe experience, blueprint interpretation, precision measurement, and the ability to make routine tooling and offset adjustments.
What You’ll Do
- Independently operate CNC turning centers and lathes
- Load programs, change tooling, set offsets, and complete routine setups
- Load raw materials into chucks, collets, or bar feeders
- Complete first-piece and in-process inspections
- Monitor cutting conditions and adjust wear offsets
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, thread gauges, and depth gauges
- Read blueprints, GD&T, tolerances, and work instructions
- Identify and replace worn inserts and cutting tools
- Troubleshoot chatter, tool wear, dimensional variation, and surface-finish concerns
- Maintain coolant levels, remove chips, and keep machines organized
- Complete production and quality documentation accurately
Required Qualifications
- Two to five years of CNC turning-center or CNC lathe experience
- Ability to complete routine setups independently
- Experience changing tooling and adjusting offsets
- Understanding of OD and ID turning, facing, grooving, threading, boring, drilling, and cutoff operations
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Knowledge of machining tolerances and quality standards
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Experience
- Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Mazak, Doosan, or similar CNC lathe controls
- Bar feeders, hydraulic chucks, and collets
- Live tooling
- Multi-axis turning centers
- Sub-spindle machines
- Swiss-style turning centers
- Tool-life management and insert optimization
Physical and Work Environment
- Stand and walk throughout a 10-hour shift
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Frequently bend, twist, reach, stoop, and grasp
- Work around moving machinery, metal materials, industrial noise, and varying temperatures
- Overtime or occasional weekend work may be required
