Position Overview

A large industrial operation is hiring Industrial Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on role with exposure to a wide range of areas, including ammonia refrigeration systems, fabrication, wastewater treatment, and rendering.

Some specialized training is available, but candidates must bring at least one year of mechanical, electrical, automotive, or industrial maintenance experience and a working understanding of how equipment operates.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery and facility systems
• Complete fabrication and welding projects, including TIG welding
• Support ammonia, wastewater treatment, and rendering systems
• Diagnose equipment failures and help minimize production downtime
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
• Complete maintenance documentation and communicate repair needs

Qualifications

• At least one year of industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, electrical, or automotive experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting ability
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Welding and fabrication experience, especially TIG welding, is highly valued
• Able to work independently and learn unfamiliar systems
• Reliable and available for the assigned shift
