A community-focused distribution operation is hiring a Warehouse Operations Associate to receive, organize, process, and distribute inventory accurately.
This position combines hands-on warehouse work, forklift operation, inventory tracking, order preparation, and customer service. It is a strong fit for someone who likes staying active but can also slow down long enough to verify quantities, complete data entry, and keep inventory records accurate.
What You’ll Do
- Receive, handle, organize, and distribute warehouse inventory
- Accurately pull and stage products for outgoing orders
- Maintain product locations and assist with inventory rotation
- Process pick tickets and inventory changes using warehouse software
- Complete accurate product and donor information entry
- Assist with physical inventory counts
- Sort, inspect, and repackage products as needed
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain sanitary product-handling and warehouse-cleaning standards
- Assist partner organizations and onsite customers with product selection
- Support special distributions and additional warehouse projects
Required Qualifications
- Forklift, pallet jack, and warehouse-equipment experience
- Current forklift operator training or certification
- Ability to accurately pull, stage, and track inventory
- Strong attention to detail and confidence working with numbers
- Basic computer and data-entry ability
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to balance physical warehouse work with inventory documentation
- Professional communication and customer-service skills
- Reliable availability for occasional evening or weekend work
- Personal transportation for required evening or weekend events
Physical and Work Environment
- Regular and repetitive lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds
- Occasional lifting or moving of up to 75 pounds
- Extended standing, walking, and intermittent sitting
- Frequent reaching, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing stairs
- Warehouse conditions ranging from controlled office temperatures to unregulated heat or cold
- Possible exposure to wet, humid, or outdoor weather conditions
- Moderate to loud warehouse noise
