Job Full Description
We are seeking reliable, efficient, and physically fit individuals to join our team as Off loaders. As a Furniture Mover, you will be responsible for safely unloading furniture for our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently unload furniture from trucks, ensuring no damage occurs to the items or property.
- Assemble furniture as needed.
- Ensure all furniture is handled with care and in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to provide a smooth and professional moving experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the moving equipment and truck.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations during the move.
- Perform basic troubleshooting for any minor issues with furniture or moving equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in moving, delivery, or a physically demanding role is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy furniture and carry out physically strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move heavy furniture.
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
- Good stamina and physical fitness to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
