Job Summary:
The Assembler is responsible for assembling, glazing, and inspecting casement windows to meet quality and production standards. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read work orders and schematics, and the physical ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble window frames, sashes, hardware, and glass for casement windows
- Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and operation of moving parts
- Follow work orders and safety protocols at all times
- Use hand and power tools efficiently and safely
- Inspect finished products for defects and report issues to quality control
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret basic drawings
- Experience with hand tools and basic mechanical skills
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
