Job Title: Shop Helper – Industrial Pump Manufacturer
Location: Bossier City, LA
Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper to assist with daily operations at our industrial pump manufacturing facility in Bossier City. This role supports technicians and machinists by helping with general labor, cleaning, material handling, and light assembly work.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic pump assembly tasks and part preparation

Load and unload materials, components, and equipment

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping and disposal of scrap

Move parts and tools between workstations using pallet jacks or carts

Help receive, label, and store incoming materials and components

Support machinists, welders, and technicians with various shop duties
-
Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE at all times

Perform other general labor duties as directed by shop supervisors
Requirements:

Previous experience in a shop, warehouse, or industrial setting preferred

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift

Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools

Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
