Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator
Pay: $16.00/hour DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Shreveport, LA
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team in Shreveport. This role involves cutting, bending, shaping, and assembling sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication experience, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using hand tools, power tools, and machinery

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, grinders, presses, and welders

Measure, cut, and form sheet metal to precise dimensions

Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, deburring, and grinding

Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Assist with general shop duties and support other team members as needed
Requirements:
-
Previous experience as a sheet metal fabricator or in a similar trade

Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions

Familiarity with fabrication tools, welding, and shop equipment

Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work throughout the day

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training a plus
