Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Bakery Manager to support daily bakery operations and leadership. This role is ideal for someone looking to learn the business from the ground up and grow into a management role. The right candidate will be hands-on, eager to learn, and committed to long-term growth with the company.
Responsibilities

Assist the Bakery Manager with daily operations and production

Help supervise and support bakery staff during early-morning shifts

Assist with baking, prep work, and product presentation as needed

Help maintain inventory, supplies, and cleanliness standards

Ensure food safety, sanitation, and quality standards are met

Provide excellent customer service and assist with customer concerns

Support training of new team members
-
Step into leadership duties as needed
Requirements

Willingness and ability to work early morning hours (starting as early as 1:00 AM)

Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude

Desire to learn all areas of bakery operations

Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment

Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical job duties

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications

Bakery, food service, or retail experience

Prior leadership or key-holder experience

Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
