Welder
Location: Bossier City
Pay: $18–$20/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Welder to join our team in Bossier City, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to specifications while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with various welding equipment and reading blueprints or shop drawings.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on steel and other metals
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurements
- Operate grinders, cutting torches, and fabrication equipment
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to pass a weld test if required
- Knowledge of welding safety practices and equipment operation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
