Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Welder to join a growing team in Bossier City, LA. This position is ideal for a skilled welder who is comfortable working from drawings and measurements to fabricate, fit, and weld metal components.
Candidates must have 3–5 years of hands-on welding and fabrication experience and be able to work independently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and fabrication of metal components and assemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications
- Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials accurately
- Perform MIG welding and other welding processes as required
- Use grinders, saws, cutting equipment, and common fabrication tools
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy
- Maintain proper fit-up, alignment, and weld appearance
- Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Complete projects according to production schedules and specifications
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of welding/fabrication experience required
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read and work from blueprints or fabrication drawings
- Experience with cutting, grinding, fitting, and metal preparation
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical fabrication work throughout the shift
Compensation & Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a consistent 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Pay ranges from $17–$20 per hour, depending on welding and fabrication experience.
