Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM

Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Fabrication Welder / MIG Welder in Shreveport, LA. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity for a skilled welder with experience in metal fabrication, MIG welding, fitting, and production welding.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fabrication shop, reading measurements and blueprints, fitting components, and producing consistent, high-quality welds.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding and general fabrication on metal components and assemblies
- Fit, tack, and weld parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans
- Accurately read a tape measure and other measuring tools
- Cut, grind, prep, and finish metal components
- Operate common welding and metal fabrication equipment
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
- Perform production and structural welding as required
- Follow established welding procedures and specifications
- Maintain a clean and safe fabrication shop
- Meet daily production and quality standards
Qualifications
- Previous welding or metal fabrication experience required
- MIG welding experience preferred
- Fabrication, fitting, or structural welding experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Experience using grinders, cutting tools, and common shop equipment
- Strong attention to weld quality and workmanship
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical shop work throughout the shift
