Pay: $20/Hr.
Hours: Monday–Friday, Guaranteed 40 Hours/Week
Location: Shreveport, LA 71109
Schedule: Some weekend work may occasionally be required
Job Description
A local company in Shreveport is seeking an experienced MIG/TIG Welder to join its team. This is a full-time position with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek and occasional weekend work based on production needs.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience, be comfortable working in a fabrication/industrial environment, and be able to consistently produce clean, quality welds.
Job Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components

Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts and materials

Read and follow blueprints, drawings, measurements, and work instructions

Measure, cut, grind, and prepare materials for welding

Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy

Use grinders, saws, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment

Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized

Follow established safety procedures and proper PPE requirements

Assist with other fabrication and shop duties as needed
Qualifications

Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required

Strong understanding of welding and fabrication techniques

Ability to read a tape measure and work from measurements

Blueprint reading experience preferred

Comfortable using grinders, hand tools, and fabrication equipment

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dependable attendance and reliable transportation

Willingness to work occasional weekends when needed
