Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Overview: Chemical Blending Technician
As a Chemical Blending Technician, you will be responsible for measuring, mixing, and blending chemicals to produce high-quality industrial lubricants and coatings. You’ll play a key role in maintaining quality standards, ensuring safe practices, and supporting production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Blending & Production
- Accurately measure and weigh chemicals per specific formulas.
- Mix raw materials to meet exact product specifications.
- Ensure proper incorporation of additives and stabilizers.
Quality Control
- Perform quality checks throughout the blending process.
- Monitor processes and equipment for consistency and accuracy.
- Report any issues or deviations immediately.
Safety Compliance
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Handle chemicals and materials in accordance with regulations.
- Promote a safety-first mindset across the team.
Equipment Maintenance
- Operate and maintain blending machinery.
- Report malfunctions or irregularities promptly.
- Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance.
Inventory & Documentation
- Track raw material usage and monitor inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate blending records and batch logs.
- Ensure compliance with company documentation procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 45+ lbs and work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.
- Previous experience in chemical blending or industrial manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
