Pay Range:

  • Level I: $30–$35/hour
  • Level II: $20–$25/hour

Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician I & II

Level I1 – Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Summary:
Entry to mid-level technician supporting equipment uptime and preventative maintenance routines in a plastics manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) per schedules and manufacturer recommendations
  • Support daily operations through mechanical repairs and general plant maintenance
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical systems (fuses, motors, relays)
  • Maintain pumps, instrumentation, and assist with equipment rebuilds
  • Collaborate with production on tool changes and machine performance
  • Fabricate and weld parts or structures as needed

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical repair experience
  • Welding, pipe fitting, and instrumentation skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Plastics or extrusion experience preferred

Level I – Skilled Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

Summary:
Experienced industrial maintenance mechanic responsible for complex equipment and systems in a high-speed production environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain support systems: pumps, airvey systems, boilers, pelletizers
  • Perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and steam systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems: motors, relays, PLCs (preferred)
  • Assist operators with tool changes and system troubleshooting
  • Log accurate maintenance records and PM documentation
  • Weld, fabricate, and perform pipe fitting tasks
  • Work with instrumentation: temp, flow, pressure sensors

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial equipment maintenance
  • Proficient with welding, pipe fitting, hydraulics, and electrical repair
  • Comfortable with electrical troubleshooting (480V/3 phase systems)
  • PLC experience preferred
  • Experience in plastics (extrusion, injection molding, blow molding) is a plus
  • Solid computer literacy and ability to work independently
