Job Title: CNC Lathe Setup Operator (Okuma/Fanuc Experience)
Introduction:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Operator for a company operating in a low-volume, high-mix production environment. This is a great opportunity for skilled operators looking to build on their experience with Okuma or Fanuc controls—training is available!
Shift/Schedule/Hours:
1st Shift: 6:00am – 4:30pm / Monday – Friday, Saturday 6am-12pm mandatory when ran.
Pay Rate/Salary:
$18-$20+ depending on experience

Summary of Position/Job:
As a CNC Lathe Operator, you’ll handle multiple daily setups and low-volume production runs using Okuma & Fanuc-controlled machines. The focus is on precision, flexibility, and efficiency in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform 4–8 setups per day for low-volume production (1 to 300 pieces per run)
- Pull up pre-written programs and make necessary edits and offsets
- Run 1st piece approvals using quality lab equipment
- Conduct part inspections and tool changes
- Complete full job runouts with attention to accuracy and detail
Qualifications:
- Experience in CNC (required)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficient in using measuring equipment
- Possessing personal measuring tools (e.g., 0–2" calipers) is a plus but not required
- Experience with Fanuc controls is acceptable—Okuma training is provided
