Job Title: Temporary Biological Production Technicians/Pollination Production Workers
Location: Howell, Michigan
Introduction: Express Employment Professionals is seeking 5 Temporary Biological Production Technicians/Pollination Production Workers to support hive production operations for commercial pollination services. This role is hands-on, detail-focused, and directly contributes to agricultural sustainability.
Shift & Pay:

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday

Starting Pay: $20.00/hour

Employment Type: Full-Time Starting November 17th through February 13th* long term opportunities may be available based on performance.

Position Summary: The Pollination Production Worker is responsible for maintaining the hygiene and health of bumblebee hives. You’ll perform feeding, cleaning, packaging, and rotation duties while working in a team-based biological production environment. Reliability, consistency, and attention to detail are key.
Primary Responsibilities:

Feed hives based on scheduled pollen program guidelines.

Replace and refill hive water pots as needed.

Clean hives, remove moth damage, and sanitize tools with alcohol.

Assemble shipping boxes and pick hive orders for distribution.

Vacuum loose bees/moths in designated production areas; clean vacuum after use.

Rotate, freeze, break down, and dispose of surplus colonies appropriately.

Load hive components into wash carts and operate wash room equipment.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

1 year of production, warehouse, assembly, or hands-on work preferred (but training provided).
Working Environment:
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand/walk for entire shift.

Ability to lift 15–25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, and repetitive movement.
