Industrial Maintenance Technician – Wixom, MI
Pay: $25–30/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Overtime Available)
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, robotics, and other industrial equipment.
- Rehome/reset robotic systems and troubleshoot using PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley).
- Perform welding and fabrication (MIG, TIG, Arc) and lathe work when required.
- Identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures. Install, test, and maintain electrical panels, wiring, sensors, relays, VFDs, and vision systems (Cognex).
- Support robotic automation, including Kuka, Fanuc, Epson, and Mitsubishi systems.
- Assist in the installation of new robotic cells and material-handling automation.
- Maintain roof vents, plumbing, fixtures, HVAC, and perform basic building repairs.
- Follow Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects. Qualifications:
- PLC & Robotics Knowledge – Familiarity with Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs and robotic systems (Kuka, Fanuc, Epson, Mitsubishi preferred)
- Mechanical & Electrical Skills – Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, servo motors, gearboxes, and automation systems.
Qualifications:
- Industrial Maintenance Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in manufacturing maintenance OR completion of a mechatronics vocational program.
