Job Full Description
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Pay: $20 hr
Shift schedule: 7:00am -3:30pm; Monday to Friday
A premier manufacturer in the Brighton area is searching for experienced/skilled forklift operators to join their warehouse team on 1st shift. These positions are long-term and full-time career opportunities.
Job Duties:
- Operating a 4-Prong Forklift
- Material Handling
- Shipping & Receiving
- Load & Unload Trucks
- Wrap & Palletize Orders
- Utilize RF Scanner to enter inventory
- Receive, inspect, and sign for all material and packages coming into the building
- Match the parts received on the packing slip and PO
- Verify the part numbers on the PO match the part numbers on the packing slips
- Process the PO on the computer using SAP
Job Requirements:
- MUST be safety focused with a high attention to detail
- MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift
- MUST have the ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Prior experience in manufacturing, specifically working in the warehouse
- The ability to work with little to no supervision
- Familiar with both UPS & Fedex Systems
