Job Full Description
We're seeking candidates for a Welding position in Lake City at a recognized manufacturer. This position requires the set-up and operation of machinery. Inspect products visually and by using measuring tools or fixtures. Monitors output and adjust machine settings to maintain product quality. Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications. Ideal Qualifications:
- Welding technique and integrity- MIG and TIG
- Blueprint/specification reading
- Position pieces into jigs, fixtures, and guides using measuring instruments and hand tools
- Product quality standards
- Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instruction
- Machine/material knowledge- operations, light maintenance, safety requirements
- Custom experience is a plus
- Occasional lifting from 10-50lbs.
Experience:
- Technical degree in welding or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years MIG and TIG welding experience
2nd Shift Schedule
Schedule varies on experience
- 8:30am to 5:00pm
- 11:30am to 10:00pm
- 3:00pm to 1:30am
Pay
- $ 21.50/hr + DOE
- Weekly paychecks every Friday
