Express Employment Professionals in Red Wing, MN has partnered with 3M who is hiring Material Handlers for their Red Wing facility!
The Material Handler is responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and managing materials within the warehouse or production facility. This role ensures accurate inventory control, timely delivery of materials to designated areas, and compliance with safety standards. Key duties include loading and unloading shipments, verifying quantities, organizing stock, and operating material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. The Material Handler plays a critical role in maintaining workflow and supporting production schedules.
1st Shift Schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 6:00am- 3:30pm, Friday: 6:00am – 10:00am
2nd Shift Schedule
- Monday-Friday: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
Pay
- $27.02-$27.63/hour
- Weekly paychecks every Friday

Responsibilities and Duties
- Receive, inspect and record incoming materials
- Safely transport materials to storage or production areas
- Maintain accureat inventory records and perform cycle counts
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Drug screen (required)
- Background check (required)
- Hand-eye coordination assessment (required)
- 1-2 years of prior forklift operating experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally)
- Ability to stand/move for the entire shift
