- Provide occasional maintenance support to other winery sites or mobile bottling operations.
- Oversee daily operations of the bottling line to ensure efficiency, minimal downtime, and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage all bottling line changeovers, setups, and equipment calibrations to meet package specifications for various SKUs.
- Coordinate with Winemaking and QC to ensure product integrity from tank to bottle.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and compliant bottling facility.
- Oversee inventory of bottling and packaging supplies (filters, closures, wrap, glue, etc.).
- Schedule and support traditional method sparkling operations including riddling and disgorging.
- Interpret equipment manuals, SOPs, and technical drawings for staff training and troubleshooting.
- Lead, train, and supervise bottling line operators, technicians, and seasonal crews or contractors.
- Assist in labor planning, hiring, and onboarding for the bottling team.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement in the workplace.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to promote team skill development.

- Evaluate and implement process improvements for greater efficiency, equipment reliability, and product consistency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a winery, food/beverage manufacturing, or packaging environment.
- Strong mechanical skills: electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in equipment diagnostics, repairs, welding, and fabrication.
- Experience with traditional method sparkling wine operations is a plus.
