Job Full Description
Millwright I – $36.92/hr (Swing Shift Preferred)
We are accepting and considering all skill levels in maintenance. Pay is dependent on experience. Swing shift is the most desirable shift, but candidates must be flexible and able to work all shifts.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Following safe work practices, plant policies, and procedures
-
Troubleshooting machinery and performing preventive maintenance
-
Fabricating and modifying equipment
-
Repairing or replacing power transmission, hydraulic/pneumatic components, and conveyor system components
Basic Qualifications
-
Excellent work and safety record
-
Ability to work at heights and in hot/dusty environments
-
Ability to work days, swing, or graveyard shifts with required daily/weekly overtime as needed
-
Ability to comprehend and enter detailed work orders into a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
-
Experience in Field Prep, including shop math, measuring tools, hand tools, torquing, fasteners, and print reading
-
Experience in Assembly & Installation, including part assembly, pre-alignment, alignment, belts, chains, fits, and tolerances
-
Ability to identify and control failed components such as hydraulic and pneumatic components, pumps, and bearings
-
Experience in Fluid Power Operation and Troubleshooting

Knowledge of Pumping Systems, including process pumps, piping, and packing/sealing systems
-
Experience in Rigging and Welding
Preferred Qualifications
-
Journeyman-level Millwright
-
Knowledge of maintenance reliability practices
-
Computer experience (Microsoft products)
-
Familiarity with wood products machinery and equipment
Placement Information
Qualified candidates will be considered for Direct Hire placement with the company. Candidates who require additional training may be considered for a Temp-to-Hire placement.
