Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Pay: $18.50/HR
Duties:
- Assist with operating and monitoring production machinery to support manufacturing operations.
- Remove finished products from machines and prepare them for the next stage of production.
- Sort, collect, and process recyclable metal, plastic, and scrap materials generated during production.
- Transport recyclable materials to designated collection and storage areas.
- Maintain proper material flow to keep machines running efficiently.
- Assist with machine loading, unloading, and basic production support tasks.
- Inspect materials for quality and identify any defects or contamination.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, machine operation, recycling, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
