Job Full Description
TEMPORARY POSITION OPPORTUNITY!
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 2:00pm - 10:30am, and Sunday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm
Pay: $21.00/HR
Duties:
- Load, unload, stock, and move tires and automotive parts throughout the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and picker equipment, to transport products safely and efficiently.
- Use handheld scanners to locate, track, and put away inventory.
- Pick, stage, and prepare products for customer orders and shipments.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and inventory organization.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure products are stored in proper locations.
- Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating standards.
- Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, distribution, material handling, or inventory experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred; certification is a plus.
- Experience using handheld scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 25 feet while safely operating warehouse equipment.
