Job Full Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:00pm
Pay: $32.00 - $36.00 /HR
Duties:
-
Perform emergency and routine machine repairs across the plant during production and non-production hours.
-
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and PLC systems).

Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment, documenting updates accurately.

Read and interpret technical schematics for electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Assist with equipment installation, rebuilds, and product changeovers to support production needs.

Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards (OSHA, GMP, FDA, USDA, SQF, etc.).

Maintain a clean and safe workspace in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Collaborate with supervisors, team members, and vendors to address equipment performance and maintenance requirements.

Complete work orders on schedule with thorough documentation in EMaint.

Promote a positive and safe work environment by following company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
-
Experience: 3+ years in maintenance, preferably in food or dairy manufacturing.

Technical skills:
-
Knowledge of PLC operation and troubleshooting.

Ability to read schematics and understand technical symbols.

Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.

Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Mathematical skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic, fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages.

Computer skills: Advanced Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word)
