Job Full Description
Hours: Monday- Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm
Pay: $20.00-$24.00/HR
Duties:
- Develop and maintain the Quote System and Bill of Material (BOM) for Control Valve Assemblies and Accessories.
- Advise the Valve Teardown Department on Quote System updates and collaborate on the remanufacturing of Control Valve Assemblies.
- Support sales personnel in using the Quote System for Model Number development and customer quotations.
- Provide technical advice to customers on equipment issues when requested.
- Address individual part issues related to Valve and Accessories with production personnel.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Occasionally interact with customers to address their inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA, and work closely with safety coordinators.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in mathematics, mechanics, and computer usage.
- Self-motivated and able to work in various weather conditions.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience in developing Quote Systems and building Bills of Material.
- Strong computer skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to make quick on-the-spot decisions.
- Physical ability to lift valves up to 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and carry equipment up and down flights of stairs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, and climb regularly.
- Experience in valve technology, small engine mechanics, automotive mechanics, or diesel mechanics is required.
