Job Full Description
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: $19.00/HR
Duties:
-
Deliver salt to residential and commercial customers
-
Perform basic equipment service (e.g., filter changes)
-
Follow proper lifting techniques for repetitive lifting, pushing, and handling of salt and equipment
-
Maintain positive customer relationships and provide answers during service calls and deliveries
-
Communicate with management, sales, and customer service to resolve customer concerns
-
Travel within the service area using a company vehicle
-
Maintain service vehicle inventory and ensure vehicle is kept in safe condition
-
Adhere to company safety policies and vehicle operation practices
-
Receive salt deliveries and unload into warehouse using a forklift
-
Assist with basic shop duties such as cleaning and building maintenance
-
Perform additional tasks as directed by management
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license
-
Ability to consistently lift 50lbs throughout the workday
-
Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers
-
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
-
Willingness to learn and take on varied responsibilities
